Today, we celebrate Maria Nakyejwe, who graduated with honors from Makerere University with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. Maria came to NCH eight years ago as a vulnerable 10-year-old, and her transformation is nothing short of remarkable.

"NCH gave me more than just a home," says Maria. "They gave me hope, education, and the belief that I could achieve anything I set my mind to."
